Hand fashioned and finished in a warm, honey-colored, beautifully figured walnut veneer, this pretty, small piece features a double, rolled lip on the cartouche-shaped top, displaying a richly scalloped front. A single top drawer sits over two smaller drawers that flank a heart-shaped, pierced apron. The cabriole legs are carved with shells and medallions on the knees and terminate on lion paw feet. Notice the dressy and decorative rococo brass hardware.
