A truly unique find, this very early example of an exercise "machine" was beautifully hand fashioned with a bench-form mahogany frame with tall ends, that holds a tall, cushioned, leather "seat" housing a spring form interior, allowing for the "rider" to sit on it and move up and down. The piece has been recently restored and makes an interesting accessory with great decorating possibilities.
