Retaining the original painted decoration, this small table was created as a donation recepticle for a church. The tall, beautifully shaped back bears an inscription soliciting alms for the archdiocese. Notice, also, the scalloped apron and spade feet. A door on right side is used for access to retrieve offerings. This is an interesting little accent piece, offering creative uses in the modern home.
