This impressive, twelve-light chandelier is surmounted by an anthemion cap with small grape clusters hanging below, and from which suspends a fanciful, spiral stem that ends on an ovoid knop and anthemion base. The broad, heavily cast, lower bowl holds the arms of the lights, alternating with up-turned shield forms and tapering to an inverted finial at the base. It is a substantial piece with great visual appeal and affords wonderful lighting.
