This chest of drawers sports a gray marble top surmounting a fitted, drop-front secretaire compartment over two, commodious drawers. The drawers feature beautiful, inlaid mother-of-pearl, shield-shaped keyhole escutcheons and the upper drawer, an arced, burled alder root inlay with a birch and dark mahogany starburst. It terminates on small, tapered, splayed feet. This is a very useful and attractive piece.
