Fashioned in the style popularized in England, during the 18th century, these chairs were hand crafted as side chairs; the arms faithfully reproduced in the appropriate style. Each features an ebonized finish, with gilt shell decoration on the crest and apron and a crosshatch lozenge on the decorative back splat. With cabriole legs and an H stretcher, these make an attractive set.
