This early, four drawer chest was hand fashioned with a slight serpentine front that is flanked by turret stiles. The stamped, round, brass escutcheons display urn motifs and round bails. The piece terminates on short legs with well-defined, ball and claw feet. It is a medium brown color and displays a nice, old patina.
