Robustly hand carved, this impressive hanging lamp displays a stout, baluster stem, with all-over carved designs, ending with a cup form with swirled carving and an inverted finial. The eight, scrolled arms display rocaille (or shell) motifs along the sides, with small, round bobeches and candle cups. Its substantial proportions and creative details make it a very decorative piece.
