(Item: L2444)
This large and important lantern was hand crafted and displays many interesting features. It suspends on a hand forged iron ratchet stem from a flat, quatriform ceiling plate. The barrel-shaped lantern has a conical smoke cap and the frame features wonderful, folk-like etching, including a lighthouse and florette borders. The milky, mottled glass panels are intact; on the bottom as well as sides. Made as a kerosene lamp, it will easily convert to eletricity. It is a stunning piece.
