Each of this large set of chairs features a baroque style, carved crest rail with overlapping C scrolls suggesting pounding waves; echoed at the base of the back. Each back displays a padded, leather, center slat, flanked by turned uprights. The leather seat is supported by turned legs and a turned, H stretcher. A nice reproduction of a much earlier style, these are a great buy.
