This commdious chest was hand crafted in two parts, with two drawers over two in the lower section. It features very simple lines with an applied rim on the top and around the center, as well as the bottom that rests on small, carved, block feet. The only decoration is in the cast, pierced brasses: large keyhole escutcheons of crowns over shields, which are flanked, on each drawer, by smaller crown brasses.
