The case of this grandfather clock was hand crafted with a deeply moulded, arched top over the long case with many applied, moulded details. The face of the clock is arched with a round, silvered medallion, bearing the maker's name: Niclas Dedeman, over the silvered dial with roman numerals alternating with fleur de lis. The dial and medallion are surrounded by cast, pierced, floral decoration.
