This provincial desk was hand fashioned in a stately design; with a broken pediment top, accented with dentil runs, over a tall cabinet that houses three shelves. The bottom portion features a drop front with fitted interior and an unusual and useful arrangement of drawers: four drawers flanked by two small drawers and two small cabinets. It terminates on pretty, bracket feet, and retains the lovely, original brass hardware, including pierced escutcheons on the upper cabinet. To case: H 40".
