Retaining the original looking glass, this lovely mirror is housed in a rococo style frame, in the mode of the 18th century. It features a dramatic, swirling, acanthus leaf and shell crest, gilt borders along the sides and rocaille (shell) ornaments at the base; a good example of the assymetric, whorling designs of the rococo period.
