The case of this provincial clock was hand crafted with a bonnet top, housing an arched face that is hand painted with a rose at the top and columns flanking the Roman numeral dial. The case displays a later, painted finish in burgundy with tones of forest green and silver gray accents. It is dated 1856 and bears the monogram: ACLF. Note the scroll design on the door and base.
