Hand fashioned in classic simplicity, this small chest of three drawers was made with an applied lip to the top, slightly overhanging the body. The drawers each have a single, cast and burnished brass, rectangular escutcheon with keyhole and demilune pull; the drawers flanked by the rounded corners of the piece, and terminating on small, curved feet. It was made of nicely figured, golden birch and fits with many decors.
