Hand crafted in a provincial manner, this long, narrow, lift-top chest has the distinction of decoration in the form of an ogee, scalloped apron that forms bracket feet in the front, combined with the single board, slab sides. It retains much of the original, pinkish, painted finish, giving a great, patinated appearance.
