Fashioned, in Louis XV style, this lovely writing table features intricate, scrolling foliate designs of inlaid satinwood, on the top and apron. It houses two, small drawers. The writing surface of this desk is of beautifully tooled, well-patinated, brown leather. A heavy, ormolu egg-and-dart edge around the top enhances the piece, as do the full-length, ormolu mounts on the slight, cabriole legs. An elegant piece!
