With a very large, brown leather top, this desk was fashioned with a fluted apron housing two large drawers; each with a rococo, brass, keyhole escutcheon. Made in trestle form, it features a stout adaptation of lyre-form legs, with spindled galleries at the bottom, supporting a beaded trestle and terminating on broad, scrolled feet that are reminscent of paws. This is a wonderfully useful piece.
