This early pair of side chairs was hand crafted, each featuring a back comprising five shaped, graduated, horizontal slats. Each has a rush seat and sits atop straight legs with pad feet in the front and supporting a simply turned stretcher, with double, pole stretchers on each side and a single in the back. These make nice occasional chairs, affording extra seating and country charm.
