(Item: CH2032)
A good example of the reclining chair invented by William Morris, this example is of high quality as exhibited by the lovely mahogany and stout, brass back adjuster. It displays the fairly high arms of the Morris genre, with the addition of upholstered pads. The pads and cushions were upholstered at a date much later than the chair. Notice the traditional Eastlake turnings and incised details.
