A truly classic chair, beautifully hand constructed, this piece features a rounded, horseshoe back extending to the arms. The broad back splat is of wonderfully figured rosewood and the seat exhibits the finest rattan weaving. The legs support beaded, continuous spandrels with the slightest suggestion of cloud forms, and the front of the box stretcher provides a foot rest. It is an elegant occasional chair.
