(Item: B-70-0310)
(Ref: GF4-108)
H. Crowther Ltd., London (1908-present). Henry Crowther sourced many of his castings for his lead foundry from his father's fine garden ornament business founded in the 1880s. These moulds continue to be used today.
This lovely piece is an adaptation of a Viennese drinking fountain. It features a beribboned ram's head, with curly horns, and a floral garland with a sheep's bell, as it's point of interest. This attractive lavabo also features a scrolled crest with a small medallion, side finials, a pretty basin with an egg-and-dart rim, and added scroll details. It will be a wonderful addition to any porch, patio or garden wall. This piece matches B-70-0387.
