Hand crafted of cedarwood (nan mu), this shallow, slightly tall cabinet was fashioned with nicely moulded details throughout the frame and on the paneled doors. The double doors open to reveal two central drawers forming the upper of two shelves. Notice the ruyi stamped pulls on the drawers and on the escutcheon on the doors; also the unusual, applied, exterior brass hinges. This piece would make a nice bookcase, but also a storage cupboard.
