This very interesting bench was hand fashioned with many elements of design. The back features an upper rail supported by lotus flower struts, and surmounting lower panels, hand carved and pierced with floral designs. The apron beneath the thick, slatted seat also displays floral panels with cloud form spandrels and stout legs ending in the form of a lion's paw resting in a bed of flowers. It is a very decorative seat.
