The thick, plank top of this table displays applied, everted flanges. The apron below is very decorative, with faux bamboo edged panels that are hand carved and pierced, depicting household scenes with figures of elders. The cloud-form spandrels are decoratively carved with floral details, and the apron, carved with cloud-form and bat details. The cabriole or horse leg legs also have bats on the knees and face motifs on the feet. It makes a decorative sideboard or console table.
