This small cabinet was hand fashioned of cedarwood (nan mu). It displays mortised construction, with long, double doors on the front, surmounting three small drawers. The piece features a red painted finish enhanced by gilt calligraphy on the doors, black borders on the doors and drawers, small, cloud-form spandrels and humpback side stretchers. The interior features two drawers in the upper portion, forming a shelf. It is a lovely piece that offers versatile storage.
