This large bench features a wonderful, hand hewn and unusually thick plank top. Crafted with mortised construction, it sits atop square, beaded legs that support double stretchers at each end and softly rounded spandrels. It retains some of an early, red-lacquered finish. It is a great bench, but also would make a super coffee table.
