This small, double door cabinet was hand crafted with simple lines. It displays a red lacquered finish, with the front extensively and very artistically painted in black and gilt, depicting delicate medallions of flora and fauna, interspersed with foliate sprays. This piece retains the original, round, cloud-form, brass escutcheon with small, pierced pulls. It is a lovely piece; very elegant.
