Displaying the original finish, this long table was hand crafted with a single plank top having applied, everted flanges. The solid sides form the legs that terminate on shoe feet; protruding somewhat at the front. Notice the decorative detail of the hand carved and pierced spandrels flanking the fronts of the legs; executed in an artistic, scrolling foliage pattern. This piece makes a wonderful sideboard or console; especially if depth is an issue.
