Hand fashioned of lovely cherrywood, this chest houses four commodious drawers with traditional, swing bails on oval, brass escutcheons, and small, oval, brass keyhole escutcheons. Notice the multi beaded detail around the upper edge and the graceful bracket feet. It is a wonderful, early, American antique and very useful piece.
