Molded mark (verso): TRENT. Produced in a rare blue majolica glaze, this Victorian fireplace facing is crafted in the Renaissance Revival style. The uprights each have three, stacked square tiles within a frame, decorated with an opposing standing man and woman in Renaissance dress. The five square, tiles for the horizontal, frieze each display a wild, rose floral bouquet.
