(Item: S-65-0131)
From the Seto region, this tall and slender vase is marked on the base. Executed in a rustic, earthy manner, it displays a mottled brown glaze. Note the interesting detail of the slight, indented spout on the lip, from which a green glazed liquid seems to be pouring. . .a surprising, but definitely Japanese style detail. It is a great shape and size for a dramatic bouquet, but makes an interesting accessory on its own.
