From the northern part of England, this piece features three fielded panels on the back, slightly scrolled arms with turned supports, and cabriole front legs. It affords generous seating and would be pretty with a cushion of your choice. Used as fireside seating, these now find happy homes in many rooms; often hallways. The seat is a later replacement.
