Large Huastecos Indian Pottery Vessel
(Item: P1711)
This very large pot was hand crafted in the coiled tradition of the Huastecos peoples; a culture spread across the northern portion of five Mexican states and into southern Texas. Of red clay, this piece was unglazed and displays a well-worn, aged patina. It makes a statement as a handsome accessory and would be charming used as a plant container.
