These beautiful plates were made by Thomas, Bavaria, and are marked: Tatler; 550. Hand painted portrayals of George and Martha Washington, are within very finely gilded borders. Eash is mounted in a white and gilt shadowbox, lined in champagne-colored silk moire. The pair makes an unusual wall display.
