This most unusual piece was surely custom made for a specific client or location. It is a large rack with a broad "roof", decorated with bead and dentil runs, and wooden hooks along the back. The center run features wonderfully imaginative bird-form coat hooks and rests on a lower platform that is wide enough to hold boots. The piece terminates on cabriole legs, decorated with carved acanthus leaves, and paw feet.
