This very rich and elaborate pair displays the finest craftsmanship from the artisans in the colonies. Each piece is intricately carved in floral motifs, throughout the back boards, the unusually deep aprons, X stretchers with central pediments, and legs. The legs also display carved lions' heads and birds. In all, these make a strong decorating statement and will be the focal point in an important room.
