Finely and elaborately hand carved, this four-seat settee features intricately executed floriform crests on the heart-shaped backs, and on the back panels, and a deep, carved and pierced apron with a center fan design and more foliate carving. It also features scrolled arms and turned and reeded legs. The nicely caned seat is a recent replacement. An extremely decorative piece, it also offers great seating.
