Finely inlaid with ivory and brass in intricate patterns, this pair of chairs were hand crafted in the tradition of the folding Italian chairs of the Renaissance (after the martyred monk, Savonarola), these chairs also feature feline heads on the arm terminals. They do display the wear of centuries of use, but are very decorative pieces.
