This lovely, small cellarette was beautifully crafted of faded mahogany, absolutely simple in design with a fine, satinwood, string inlay around the top of the lift lid, which also sports a brass, swin bail. The interior is compartmentalized for bottles and does retain two early, probably 19th century, case bottles. The bottles may not be original to the piece, but are lovely and of the period.
