This lovely pair was crafted with underglaze blue floral designs on the rims and crosshatch inner borders. Each piece features overglaze, or "clobbered" polychrome enameling that depicts various fowl around the rim and a garden scene with tree peonies and birds in the center. The pieces are nicely highlighted with gilt details.
