This lovely vase displays no maker's marks. It was artistically fashioned with "kissing" fish-form handles on a baluster shaped vase, each side with handpainted quatrefoil reserves, and architectural and foliate designs overall. It was hand painted with the traditional cobalt blue and bittersweet colors of Imari ware and accented beautifully with gilt details.
