With a hand painted dial, featuring a floral medallion on the arched top, with delicate floral and gilt details around the border, this clock is signed: "W. Raw, Whitby". The gilt hands of this clock are especially lovely. The oak case features an arched top, embellished with an applied plume decoration, 3/4 pilasters flanking the dial and 1/4 pilasters flanking the arched door beneath. The dial does exhibit some warping from age.
