Of small proportion for so dressy a piece, this bookcase was unusually fashioned with three drawers over a large drawer in the base, terminating on nicely turned feet. The gallery top features a small, round, beveled mirror at the center, flanked by carved floral details and flat pilaster supports with foliate finials. Notice the unique patterns on the scrolling side supports. It makes wonderful book storage or display space.
