(Item: CH1552)
These impressive, Indo-Portuguese chairs from a palace in India, reveal solid satinwood construction beneath generations of varnish. The very tall, straight backs sport an oval, upholstered pad, matching the seats. They are extensively hand carved with floral motifs throughout and carved lions heads on the arm extensions and apron. The bases were designed in the fashion of a savonarola chair. They will make a huge impact in a baronial setting.
