(Item: TP0099)
The case of this tall case clock was crafted in the traditional style of the late 18th century, with a broken pediment bonnet, fluted pilasters flanking the dial, the suggestion of fluted quarter pilasters along the body and an ogee apron. The stunning brass dial displays a medallion signed "Gray/Leicester" in the arched top and applied corner ornamentation. It is a lovely country piece with a slightly sophisticated flare.
