Indian Pierced and Arched Window Screen Transom (Jali)

Indian Pierced and Arched Window Screen Transom (Jali)

Ref: AR4206

This fairly small, demi-lune pierced arch was hand carved as an architectural element, used for ventilation, in India. The plain border houses a lovely pierced flower form. It retains much of earlier white and blue painted finishes. It is a very decorative piece that affords myriad creative uses in the modern, western home.
