Pair of American Gothic Revival Limestone Architectural Finials

Ref: AR5650

Removed from a mansion in Milwaukee, WI, that was demolished in the 1960s, these hand carved stone architectural elements reflect a French Gothic influence. With a simple, bullet shape, having a pointed front and top, each displays a panel of a conventionalized acanthus leaf motif. Notice the worn patina of years of exposure, aged feeling to the pieces.
