Hand turned from a single block of teak wood, this round box features a hand forged iron, scalloped lid with a hinged lock and ring pull. The body is reinforced with iron banding and the whole piece displays a wonderful, somewhat rusty patina of ages of use. It affords many uses in the modern home and is a charming piece of folk art.
